Description
With only a short time left to live, a terminally ill Jack spends his last days preparing to say good-bye to his devoted wife, Lizzie and their three children until tragedy strikes again. Lizzie is killed in a car accident, and with no one able to care for them, the children are sent to various relatives around the country. Yet, miraculously, Jack begins to recover and is determined to bring his fractured family back together. After reuniting everyone in Lizzie's childhood home in South Carolina, over one unforgettable summer Jack learns to love again, and he and his children learn how to become a family once more.
