Al the Alpaca is based on a true story of Al when he was taken from his friends and the life he knew on an alpaca farm to a neglected and dangerous life on a sheep farm. Al shares his fears and his longing to be reunited with his two best friends, Francis and Teddy Bear. Al is finally rescued and taken to a forever home.
